I  bought a trolly full of groceries today.  One more trip to the corner shop either tonight or tomorrow and we are officially ready.

I'm making a batch of homemade chili/chilli for Frito Pies Saturday and Sunday night.

Finger foods for Christmas Eve and a stuffed goose for Christmas Day.

Yep, we are a couple of old farts celebrating in the comfort of our home.   Nothing particularly grand this  Christmas.  :))

These are very thoughtful gifts due to the link timeliness and link functionality of both items but I also really appreciate the wholesome designs of both the cartridge and console holders. There's a major nostalgia factor in seeing the Mystery Box especially since my older sister and I played a lot of Nintendo as kids and now that I'm reintroducing myself to Nintendo it comes back full circle and reminds me link of the joy and light-hearted spirit these games bring.
