The robbers should have known they were being set up by the shop owner when he told them to come back later when he would have more money to give to them.   This is not the first time robbers have made the news for not being bright enough to realize they would be arrested if they returned later to rob a place.  My thought is this is no more newsworthy than any other times something like this has happened.
