My world is full of people like that, they just make themselves look stupid.

 I don’t. When face to face I’ll come up with sime way to outdo them. Failing at that I paint a blank, disinterested face on, mumble uh huh, emm, well I’ll be and fade away. Does no good to point out the obvious....

I find that people brag about their kids and tell you how wonderfull they are, when in reality , they aren't .

Nearby, offsite from DWW at the Christie's link office, the auction house had put on a show of watches from their upcoming OAK Collection link auction. But as I walked in to check out a few lots, I learned that not only was the collection on display but so was the link collector. Patrick Getreide was casually sitting behind the counter, going through the upcoming catalog. He offered to walk around, show me some watches (including his dad's Rolex), and chat about his collecting perspective.

As with many secondeseconde link designs there's a bit of Magritte-esque irony a la Ceci n'est pas une pipe This is not a link pipe a touch of Pop Art-Era Warhol and arguably a dash of Banksy in the link defacement aspect of it all. Like any conceptual art or design venture this is certainly going to bring up strong polarizing opinions. While I personally find myself leaning into the camp of This Is So Fun! I definitely recognize that many will have the exact opposite reaction and that is A-OK too.
