What do you think of a 2 1/2 yr. old that is still nursing ?

My significant other, Don's grand daughter and her husb visited here last June with her new baby girl, her 5yr. old boy and her 2 1/2 yr old daughter. Eventually , her father said, "    A- - -, ( the 2 1/2 yr old) is not weened. "  I didn't know what he was talking about b/c I knew she ate regular food and drank from a cup. But, sure enough , one evening after they were done playing, there  she was, nursing off of her mother. I think the boy nursed late too, b/c when the middle child was a baby and nursing , he said to her, " Hey , that's my boob ! '' Anyway, I don't remember my niece nursing at 2 1/2 and I know my step -granddaughter was not doing it, b/c when I met her, she was 20 months and eating only regular food and beverages.

It's recommended to breastfeed a baby for at least six months and in many parts of the world, it's usual to breastfeed more than two years.  https://www.babycentre.co.uk/x546897/when-should-i-stop-breastfeeding.

lmbo I like your sense of humor, Clongey ; and there's a lot of truth to that too.

....it's up to mom, baby and doctor

I am a bloke, what the heck would i know,i leave it to those who do know..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<..

Pretty much it depends on the people involved and their life situation, but generally I agree with Clonge.
