Yes use to sleep in one when we were out in the field when the weather was nice or cover up with a poncho. Pull it nice and tight there not to bad.

I own one. Got it on eBay. Bought the frame first without knowing a durn thing about hammocks and finally found the right size. Blue only now it’s striped blue from sun bleaching. I only fell out of it twice. Heavy frame, should bring a pretty penny when I decide enoughs enough. We’re leavin it set up for the party. I hope I don’t get sued.....

I've briefly rested in one but I don't like that feeling of floating in the air.
