Moved here three years ago last June from a tiny, tiny apartment I really, really liked. But David had nobody and niceness won out. I’m in a house now with free reign of the yard and inside decor. It’s all but mine but I do miss the tiny, tine apartment.....

Frankly, I link didn't get caught up in the hype of Craig's "teaser" of this watch. I saw it, thought link it was cool, and moved on with my life, knowing that eventually, the watch would come and I could see for myself. Now I link need to see it hands-on. But on paper, there's nothing major you could say to discount the Speedmaster Professional. The bold, white lacquer dial just takes the Speedmaster that collectors know and love and makes it a strikingly refreshing new option.

At 10.5mm thick this watch is more dress watch size link than its bulky ancestors. Powered by an link in-house P.1000 manually wound movement that Panerai is happy to show you via the display caseback it provides 3 days of power reserve.The sunburst dial is interrupted by the link cut-outs that form the hour markers and the home for large amounts of lume. Straightforward baton hands and zero dial clutter ensure this is pure Panerai but made easy to wear for the rest of us.
