                You just have to become "detached" from the "attached". I guess it's better than watching the bays from that bridge in Austin!

                You know? I’ve never gone to watch but plan to August 26 with my son and his girl when they come down for my party! We’ll have a fast food dinner and then park ourselves at the Congress Ave bridge close to dusk. We have an 8 ft pool in the backyard and james was in it when a bat did swoop down for a sip of water. We have two bat houses in our tallest tree. Perhaps some have taken up residence. I’ll go check for guano.....
