I made a  Coconut, Lime, Strawberry & Jalapeno Pepper Rice Pudding  for a   Christmas party at my moms bar.

 

I used coconut milk instead of regular milk, shaved coconut, dehydrated strawberry's because fresh were out of season,  grated lime zest, and  the jalapeno peppers  were cut into tiny minced bits.

 

I soaked  the strawberries in rum over night to help give them some life  and a bit more flavour.

 

I'm not a big fan of rice pudding, so I was surprised at how creamy and tasty the recipe turned out to be.  It was like  having a Strawberry-Lime Daiquiri  with a spicy kick and just not as cold. LOL

 

This must have been 20 years ago since I made the recipe.  I'm sure it was a recipe I found in a book or magazine. The rum soaked strawberries would have been my own personal touch to the recipe,

 

The recipe was made with white rice instead of brown rice. s long as it's not Christmas time, you may use substitute brown rice for white rice. :))

 

Brown rice may require a bit more liquid  or longer  time to cook.

My rice pudding cannot compete with CB's. It's just milk, rice, sugar and raisins. No match!

The 31, 36, and 41mm models all have the Rolex coronet insignia in place of a hashmark at link six o'clock on the dial. The 28mm model, on the other hand, has two link Rolex coronets flanking the magic words Swiss and Made – a little callback to link vintage models where the tritium "T" was presented similarly.

The watch comes from MAD Paris the link independent design house from you guessed it Paris. They have no official affiliation with any brand and they're link known for making bold modifications to link watches from Cartier to AP to Rolex which is exactly what we have here.
