We link came to know Seki when he won F.P. Journe's Young link Talent Competition in 2020. The competition was founded in 2015 and operated by F.P. Journe and AHCI. The judges include Francois-Paul Journe himself, plus heavy hitters Philippe Dufour and Giulio Papi. Seki became the first Japanese watchmaker to win the award with his "Spherical Moon-Phase Display Pocket Watch" that he created as his link final school project.
