I bought my corrent bowling shoes for $5 at a secondhand (or foor) store. They were brand new, still in the box, not even laced. Retail $100. Wouldn't buy used footwear or kerchief, either.

    Clothes, eating utensils , books.

Curious. Why not used books? Do you use the library?
    Bob/PKB

Same querie, sunnyB, why not books?
    mycatsmom

I bought lots of used books at the senior center.

The reason I wouldn't buy second hand books, is because they carry germs, same reason I don't use a library.

Do you ever read magazines while waiting in an office? Ever open doors by the handle anywhere? Ever touch money? Ever eat in a restaurant? Germs are everywhere sunny. That's why we have an immune system. :)
    sunnyB

Yes I know Ducky, that's why I carry the wet wipes.

I would offer stiff resistance if an undertaker were to offer me a used once-only coffin going for a song.

You won't care about germs once you're dead. :)

Heck I'd grab that in a heartbeat.. But.... I'm making my own. I've got the plans for a old style toe pincher coffin.

When I was the head of men's at J.Crew in 2008 link we opened up the Liquor Store and it was our first men's store. Snyder worked with some big names on the original J.Crew incarnation including Andy Spade Mickey Drexler and others. "It was such a big moment in my career and it meant so much because men's just took off after that which was link a big reason why I ended up leaving J. Crew" Snyder recalls. "I wanted link to do my own thing to take this momentum and take advantage of it."
