That's right, some years back Louis Westphalen wrote about his own Breitling AVI Ref. 765. This isn't the exact model upon link which Cole's piece was based. There are obvious aesthetic differences like the markers, the subdials, and the hands, but it's close – the essence is link there. On a lazy Sunday, there's link no more fitting an activity than falling into a watch reference rabbit hole. Enjoy.
