There is just something so very distinctive and balanced about the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar link 42. For a brand that relies so heavily on its aviation history and its Pilot's Watch collection, the fact that it continues to pump out some of the most beautiful dress watches in the game speaks volumes. Furthermore link from the Big Pilot to a watch link like this, IWC is more than well-versed in the QP game. It does a perpetual calendar very well.

I link had what I imagine might be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see two Dufour Sonneries No. 5 and No. 7 next to each link other earlier this year from the same collection no less which also link is a great chance to highlight the differences between this "unique classic" case design the general classic case design and the "updated" case design mentioned by Phillips' research.
