Burns night is celebrated a wee bit, St Andrews day isn't even a holiday here, we tend to celebrate New year most though, it involves alchohol, as does Burns night,

All of my life I’ve told others as did my mom that I was ScotIrish with a touch of welsh. And believed it, too. But I had my genealogy done and the results surprised me. I’m 68.5% English, 18.9% Eastern Europe, and 9.5% S.I.W. only. So I have a few drops of Scot blood. At least I don have to eat haggis. I’m 2.2% N. African and .9% Nigerian. I like the last total because I can rub it in on my relatives so right winged they actually post that they’re 100% white and proud of it. And it’s their side of my family that Africa comes from! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
