I am 51 so my hair is turning grey.  I coloured my hair red approx 9 months ago because I liked the colour of red, not because I was trying to cover up my grey hair.

I started dying my hair before I began to grey. I still color it. And I will keep it up. I’ve got my mother’s hair and though she was beautiful, her grey was mousy. Non appealing....

I've had every color of hair (except black) during my lifetime including blonde streaks. For several years now, it's just its natural color.....some grey, some white, some brown. Sounds awful doesn't it, although I do think it looks better than some my age, who insist on doing a "home dye job". If I should decide to dye it, my hairdresser will do a professional job but her advice is "Leave it alone".

After covering the grey for several years, I decided to go natural. I like it.
