I guess I retired, quit working, at the age of 45. That’s when I started getting “a check“. Nice place to be after 24 years at the factory.....

I know what you mean. I worked at a couple of factories while I worked temp for a few years. But for the most part it was pretty fun. The people on my lines were pretty nice and fun to work with. Until at one factory there was a very mean big woman that cursed people out. I was there for about 3 weeks and then they let everybody go. said job was complete. boy was I happy. it was some kind of wire factory. I also worked at a candy factory, what fun, even though I worked typing there and gained 20 lbs. they brought candy and cookies to us. I worked at a factory where they packed ketchup and mayonnaise. that was great place. Italian people owned it.

I built traffic control equipment. From the computers that run the lights to the big boxes you see on the corners containing all the mechanics and softwares.

I went back to work four months after my husband passed. I just couldn't stay home and not work. I work in the cafeteria at a local school system. I am having a lot of fun. I'm 65 and plan on working as long as I can.

Patek Philippe has continually produced perpetual calendar and perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatches since 1941. No other brand would produce a serially link produced perpetual calendar wristwatch until 1955, when Audemars Piguet link introduced the groundbreaking ref. 5516 (the first perpetual calendar wristwatch to indicate the leap link year), and it wouldn't be until 1985 when another brand would produce a perpetual calendar chronograph in series – IWC with the Da Vinci Chronograph.
