I'll be dining out this New Years Eve in one of our most elegant establishments which caters to those with any kind of food intolerances, special diets, etc. It is owned by a couple who are both highly trained chefs and have an excellent grasp of the necessity to "do it right". Looking forward to the celebration! :)

I am making prime rib for New Years Eve. Making bean soup with ham for New Years Day! Prime rib once a year! LOL

Black Eyed Peas as usual (with lots of salted pork) for luck and cabbage for money (with a dime added for someone to gain the most money in the New Year)......

We are having cabbage too, but I cooked it in with the blackeyed peas.
I think the most '70s thing this watch has going for it is the case shape. It's somewhere between tonneau- and barrel-shaped in the '70s-est of ways but also in ways that link help to better link the overall chronograph design. Crown and pusher guards are built into the case itself in a way that keeps the pushers short and decidedly non-antennae-like. I link like that especially for a larger watch.
