    The first time the Aussies beat the Poms some bright spark burnt the stump bales and place them in a miniature wooden trophy, who ever wins the Ashes can take them back to their country till next year - it is only a competative nonsense between Australia and the UK..

          Yes terry. I think you've mentioned being an Aussie once before. I'm Canadian. We had 3 power plays last game, only one penalty, and the opposing team got a 10 minute misconduct and a game. We tied and then went into overtime. Still tied but we won in a shoot out. Exciting isn't it?

                    With the new Seiko 5 Sports Mid-Field Collection, what you see is basically what you link get. The watches measure 36mm in diameter and 12.5mm in thickness, with 44.4mm lug-to-lug, a mid-sized companion to Seiko's existing 39mm field watches. To me, these are about the perfect dimensions for a field watch, and I'd point to any number of classic field watches with similar link specs that might agree with me (oh hi there, Explorer 1016; Hamilton Khaki Field, link you're here too?!).

                      I recently backed up that belief by purchasing an early-2000s Leman Ultra-Slim from HODINKEE Pre-Owned. Four months later I'm still absolutely smitten with my new-to-me watch but I'll admit that I never expected a link Leman to be the first Blancpain to make its way into link my collection. I link assumed it would be a Fifty Fathoms dive watch because like many collectors today that's the product I most associate with Blancpain.
