        We had about 3 inches if snow, and everything's come to a standstill, no trains, no planes , no buses. It will probably be even worse in the morning because it's stopped snowing, but it's freezing on the slush. It doesn't snow very often around here, but it's a nightmare when we do get a little bit.

          Plows are out during the night if necessary but otherwise, they will start in certain neighborhoods by 5am. They have the most trouble keeping the streets cleared if it snows continuously (as in non-stop) over a period of a few days. Still, we can manage to get around and go wherever we need to be. :)

          Send some our way, Dave.  All we have here are slippery pavements and crunchy grass due to the icy conditions.

            It says on the news that it's snowing in Scotland. They can't get anything Wright. Blame Mrs May , she gets the blame for most things. Mind you , she has turned out pretty useless.

            The grass is frozen, so when I walk over it with my rubber shoes, it sounds like,"Cruuunch-Cruuunch-Cruuunch"! LOL

              Yes it's nice on Christmas cards. I don't mind walking in it for a while , not so keen having to drive around in it.

                We heard up here on the news about your snow in Austin. And a friend of mine said his daughter who lives in Austin and she said it was 85 last Sun. .......then Tues or Wed, they had snow. It snowed in Southern Georgia too.

                WoW Winter is here! We had a major storm last night with more tomorrow... here in Victoria we got slammed by super-rain while the rest of the islanders got snow snow and more snow!


                It rained so hard here that an ambankment came smooshing down this morning near here ... wow!

                    snow is only for skiers and kids.......altho kids don't play in snow like they used to . we used to make snow angels , snow balls, snow forts, snowmen.

                      We had a foot of snow yesterday ( Wed ) and the schools closed today. It didn't snow today....Thurs, but it's supposed to snow a little for the next 5 days. I don't think it'll snow much Sun, b/c it's supposed to be 38 F.

                        No snow here, just 30+ C, beautiful warm weather every day with clear bright blue skies, i love the snow when i was in Scotland, but you cant beat warm weather, beautiful one day perfcct the next.
