I don’t know the title nor the aurther, only know a few lines and key words such as; fire, violinist killed by fire, the poem: when you are old and full of sleep.
Its about a newcomer woman and her daughter moving to an old home to settle an estate m. She meets the main character male. They fall in love. She plays her violin in an o dried up house with wildlife all around and one catche the house on fire. She dies,. Her competition gets caught up in the fires but horribly disfiglured. The man who fell in love with the violinist was engaged to the missfigured. He marrys her. But things start to change. It’s a serious story, very heartbreakingly romantic. You’ll cry and feel joy.

For me I found it charming that even after a lifetime in watches Jacobs can link still come across a model he's never seen before. It's not that link it's expensive or rare but learning something new and finding something NOS that keeps watches exciting for Jacobs.
