I gave Storm flowers two days ago because her little pet Red Claw Crab named Karin passed away and truth be known .... that little critter was so enjoyable and feisty and cute that we wept a lot of tears ... then we interred her remains on Willows Beach in a location that would cost millions if it were a real cemetery .... lol

this past summer, I heard a knock at my door and nobody was there. I looked out the bay window and there was a glass vase of beautiful flowers from my next door neighbor. Turns out her 9 yr. old granddaughter wanted to put them on my front porch as a surprise without me knowing who put them there. So I picked up the vase and went into the back yard and thanked them for it and said I'll treasure this.
I have given many a person roses for having me over for dinner or for their birthday . I had given 12 long stemmed red roses to the afore mentioned lady next door---last year at about this time........ the night we went out for her b/day. .......when we went back to her house for desert after dinner.turns out......they were going to Colorado the very next day ........a long trip. So , her daughter in law prob took care of her roses. Today , Oct 5th, was her b/day for this year.

Technically, it will be later today, a boutineer to wear at my son's wedding. My daughter made all the flower arrangements for his and his fiancee's wedding at our house yesterday and they are currently in our refrigerator, so I have them but have not technically "received" them yet.
