Humans used to live hundreds of years. Life nowadays is way too short.

Just about right, I've outlived three generations on my paternal side, good enough for me.

When I was young, 10 or 12, and was in a very boring situation, I'd comfort myself by thinking someday it will be five years from now. Those five years passed all too quickly. I'll answer this by quoting Jack McCoy, when you long for time to pass, you're wishing your life away. As I age, five years come all too fast.....
