After eating at Le Restaurant twice now (once for lunch, once link for dinner), I can tell you that Chef Gauthier is a genius. For 30 years, Gauthier was culinary director of link Le Chat Botte at the Beau-Rivage, where he held a Michelin star. At F.P. Journe, his dinner link tasting menu (a bit more substantial than the "Elegante" menu, we picked the "Souverain" – and in hindsight, the "Astronomic" would have been too much food) was extraordinary.

In fact, it appears a lot of the folks in line had link expectations that differed from reality, and when Swatch posted an image of the watch online, some of them left the queue in disappointment. Frankly it's possible the Concept isn't needed for AP the way it was back in 2002. Maybe there was a link reframing of the concept of innovation within AP at some point or rather outgrowing the constraints of where innovation could have to live.
