I think you have to be 65 to get Medicare, but maybe Meicaid for your wife? As ben said call them up, Good luck!

There are certain people who get medicare   before they're 65 if they are low income , have medicaid and have disease conditions that qualify them for medicare........such as diabetes......especially insulin dependent diabetes.
