    How old were you learned to ride a bike?

    How old and how did you learn. I was in first grade and begged/borrowed the bike from a kid across the street. (We played in the street in those days).

        my dad wouldn't get me any bike till I was 10. He wouldn't get me a 26 '' two wheeler till I was 10; and then he wouldn't let me ride in the street. He wouldn't let me ride other kids' bikes either.

        Do you want someone to call the Whinebulance for you, MCM?

        Didn't you mention you were born premature or had some medical issues that made you very weak when you were a young child? Maybe your parents made you wait a few extra years before allowing you to ride a bike not because they were being mean but because they were concerned about your frail state and you breaking bones if you crashed your bike. Try to see the positive, MCM.

          I was 6 years old when I learned to ride a blue bike either for Christmas or my birthday.  We were living in Austin. Texas.
