I will never stop telling the younger generation my age,in fact i will go further if they look at me as an old fart,and reply"i survived to make it to this age mate,you are yet to do that"..

I still tell people my age. I couldn't care less if anyone knows that I'm 75. I think I'm doing pretty well for 'mid 70s compared to many that I know. Of course, I've never understood why age is such a big secret. It's usually not too difficult to guess anyway.
I love it when people say, "Wow, you sure don't look that old"! (I know they're lying but I love it anyway.) LOL!!

I've always looked younger than my age. That's a blessing and appeals to my vanity. I've always made people guess my age and enjoyed their reactions at the truth. However! I'm a few mos away from turning 60 and my face is showing the dreaded lines I never had. I'm investing in expensive stuff to combat the evidence. I will do so for a while until I grow discouraged and give up and accept...

At fifty I started lying! When I got younger than my kids I gave up! Now I tell my age! But I hated being 50! So now I'm over 70! Who knew?

I have neither the scratch nor the generosity link of spirit to make it link rain link with Rolex sport models. But Mike's line about seeing your watches out in the world hit home for me. For as long as I've been buying watches I've practiced a long-term-loan version of his spontaneous gifting. It's something I highly recommend.
