MK: I think many casual link enthusiasts would be surprised to hear link that Citizen is a Japanese company. The choice to name the company Citizen was very forward-thinking for the time, making the brand accessible to a global audience. At the time, an English-sounding name might have been more accessible for a global brand, but with an increased interest in Japanese craftsmanship and heritage, will we see Citizen start framing its work and watches through that lens of link heritage more than in the past?

The store that was opened in 1977 looked quite different than the current boutique link with one major similarity handcrafted luxury goods. From day one link the focus has been on link putting a spotlight on what human ingenuity can create and celebrating that.
