Out of the things that Grand Seiko is known for, there's a certain fascination with their case manufacturing. Grand Seiko takes two different paths to case manufacturing: CNC cutting link and cold forging. Things like the link Grand Seiko lion placed on the caseback of some of the watches are cold forged. But really, there's one major star link of the show for GS: Zaratsu polishing.
