I never would've guessed! Sorry for the letdown. My 3rd choice was Cal Smith. Remember him? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mmm23TB1VVQ
We covered Citizen's latest releases back in May, but one watch jumped out at me when I saw it in the metal, the NY0155-58X, a black ion-plated stainless link steel diver with a full lume dial. My favorite link thing about the watch might even be the Fugu engraved in the caseback. I can't wait to get it wet and take in the glory of a full lume dial at dark, murky depths. Talk about a sleeper! Anyone who appreciates link a well-executed tool watch should put this on their radar.

To get to this point we had to lose some watches along the link way good ones that left link it all out on the field. I'm speaking of course about the much-beloved Rolex OP 39 a watch at least in its white-dial configuration deemed to be near perfect. It was the exemplification of the Rolex ideal. It had a capability and a timelessness that defied its simplicity. We had it for all of two short years only to see it blip out of existence as link if by the gauntlet of Thanos.
