Not in the least, I would tell them I hated the f%6&ig thing and I was glad they were so excited at getting the "thing" back, show me where you're planning on putting it? GO ON, SHOW ME!!!!

No, just tell them where to stick it. I could say that to most of my friends, and they wouldn't be offended,  they know me too well.

When I was little, my mom reprimanded me  for that when I asked for something back that I had given to my brother. She said, " That's Indian giving! ! !  "

If nothing else the sale ought to make the author of Invisible Man much more visible to the watch collecting community.
