I was approached for spare change by a very thin but decent young fellow who was in need of a hot meal so I told him I would grab some actual cash and come back out and find him. And when I did he was absolutely flabbergasted saying that no-one ever comes back looking for him... and then there's me. While I was giving him a fiver a couple was pulling up and got out overhearing him exclaiming his gratitude [a real nice kid just down on luck] ... and another couple walking had just come round the corner and heard him [he was really blown away that I sought him out] and suddenly all four of them came over with money for him... he started crying as I left and gave me and my family a blessing for Christmas.... how cool is that!! Generousity was infectious in this case... gotta love when that happens!

I'm a nice person ordinarily but in the post election days, I'm even kind and forgiving to those gloating, self-serving oinker voters..... I'm working on my forgiveness skills......

The general average spec for quartz watches runs to around 15 seconds per month so that is better-than-quartz performance at least if you are comparing entry-level quartz watches to the Rolex. link Higher-end high-accuracy quartz watches might still beat it over the course of several months link or a year but it is a comfort and a blessing to know that at least where Rolex is concerned "a link cheap quartz watch is more accurate than any mechanical watch" is not as sure a thing as you might think.
