Apart from the size, the 39mm keeps link the vintage-inspired design that made the original (and these re-issues) so link very handsome. The original Deepstar is, in my eyes, one of the best-looking watch link designs of its era, and the modern Aquastar iterations wisely follow "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" thinking to considerable effect.

Which brings us to today's unveiling of the watch in link ceramic and in celebration of 40 years since the launch of the original link Diastar Anatom.
