(Max Q stands for “Maximum dynamic pressure.” It’s the moment in the launch when the rocket or shuttle is undergoing “maximum mechanical stress.” Which is just a way of saying the rocket is feeling a lot of physical pressure from shoving its way through all the air in the atmosphere at a really high speed. In fact, it’s going through the most physical stress it will feel during the entire launch.)

The look link in person is really something else and is link stunning on the wrist. Our photo team did the best they could to show the watch in natural light link where the dial appears a bit more on the slate grey side. The watch engulfed by that streak of sunlight above looks downright gorgeous. The studio photograph under artificial light calls attention to the bluer side of this particular dial.
