    "Interdisciplinary" means related to more than one branch of knowledge 


    A study of ethics would be affected by the societies studied, even professions within the society. Ethnicity, race, religion would also affect the ethics of a society. Civics are also affected by these factors. Location (geography) would even affect the civic and ethical norms.
