    I need to update my mac, but my software updater doesn't show anything

    Here's how to get the update:


    1. Make sure that you're on a trusted network such as your home or work connection.

    2. Back up your Mac using Time Machine or another backup system. ...

    3. Make sure your Mac is plugged in if it's a laptop.

    4. Tap the Apple icon at the top left of your Mac's main menu bar, and choose "Software Update..."
