Listening to Roy tell me about what a great cook I am. LOL
Tonight I made pasta mixed with homemade garlic alfredo (type) sauce, mixed with shredded chicken breasts, bacon, tomatoes, olives, spinach and parmesan cheese. We had garlic ciabatta bread with it too.

I'm not bragging. Roy's dear mum was not much of a cook and of course, he has not been exposed much to American fayre so his taste buds tingle when I cook foods he is not accustomed too.

Yesterday, I had breakfast with a high school classmate I had no classes with and we probably exchanged no more than 10 words in 4 years.
We talked about our families, what keeps us busy, and faith.
We have become friends after 46 years!

But still I actually preferred the way the AP sits on the wrist wearing slightly smaller thanks to its short lugs. The Patek's dial layout link is also familiar probably meant to evoke the sporty three-register chronographs that were so popular. Still I actually preferred the AP's four-subdial link layout. It might be because I read this website too much in its early years and was coached up to think the Universal Geneve Tri-Compax was the link epitome of a cool and complicated vintage watch.
