The song that starts out........" Yesterday, when I was young........"  by Kenny Rogers.

However if rumors are to be believed history does not reflect my watch geek fantasy. link It's said that the brown-to-lemon fade of this much-hated finish was created when they were attempting to add binding the white strip of plastic that runs around the edge of a guitar to an link almost complete body and accidentally burned the paint.
