The dial seems to take an active stance against legibility with a hodgepodge mixture of stars link sunbeams and printed Roman numerals that inexplicably alternate between link 12- and 24-hour displays. The gold-tone Alpha hands also appear to sink directly into the latticework opening that reveals a portion of the automatic ETA movement ticking inside. There's a whole lot going on but it's hard to link detect any consistent theme or direction.
