I usually don't pay attention to commercials. So they very rarely influence me.

If commercials don't have any influence, why do you suppose that McDonald's (for example) spends millions of dollars on advertising, year after year?

Some commercials are cute! The majority STINK!  The ones about abused animals and children really upset me!:(

No, I'm not that gullible. Most of us here are sure enough of ourselves not to be influenced by advertising. 

I push the mute button or change the channel when the commercials come on. They're so raucous and they go on and on.They repeat the same ones over and over.

Sometimes they do, they often remind me of something that I need to get. Even though most of them are there just to get our money.

Millions of dollars are spent on commercials and I don't think these people are just squandering their money. So, yes. They do influence. Sometimes you choose a brand thinking it's your choice, but it's your decision comes from a message stored in your subconscious!
