My dreams almost always have to do with me realizing I am sleeping and trying to wake myself up. Often I am driving a car and can't find the brake, thrashing around trying to wake myself, screaming at bystanders asking for help to wake me, sometimes hitting my wife (who promptly WAKES me). In all these dreams I have never crashed, but did once throw myself out of bed and hit my head on the night-stand (that did wake me). Wife has not yet moved to the guest room!

I have never,  ever had a recurring dream and rarely dream about the day I had. Even more rare that I dream about someone I know. No relatives visit in my dreams.....

When a tooth link reaches the end of the waiting pallet the rest of the escapement design ensures that the impulse-taking pallet will link remain in front of the escape wheel teeth. From the moment the tooth that was sliding along the indirect-impulse surface is released it's ensured that the impulse-taking pallet is safely link in front of the impulse-giving tooth.
