Fresh in the pod, if possible. Otherwise, frozen. Not my favorite vegetable though, in any form.

We're getting fresh out of the garden right now, but I guess I'm not to picky on the others.  I put them in the skillet with a little butter or bacon grease, salt,  pepper, chopped onion chopped bacon. 

Tinned  (garden) peas for a hot side dish.

Frozen peas for pea salad and pasta salad.

Mushy peas for fish and chips.

Nothing beats fresh peas.

I'm far from the only collector obsessed with the link Résonance and link I fully expect this new version to become just as legendary as earlier versions.
