    When modern Turkey was established by Kemal Ataturk he wanted it to be secular, but Erdogan appears to be moving backwards towards the Ottoman Empire and totalitarianism. Ataturk's words need to be written: 'I have no religion and at times wish all religions at the bottom of the sea. He is a weak ruler who needs religion to uphold his government'.

    There are those who have suggested the President set it all up to gain more power,,i think we sit and watch for awhile,,because if this guy keeps going down the same track he is going,,the American airfield base will have to get out of Turkey,,,Turkey already supplies assistance to isis via buying cheap oil from isis,,you cannot have a boot in each camp,,,watch this space Hec..Turkey could be heading backwards..>>>>>><<<<<<<<..         https://www.rt.com/news/327413-syria-turkey-ottoman-empire/
