I added walnuts to my dinner tonight to make it more palatable. Do YOU ever "decorate" your plate just so you can eat it? (catsup?)

Catsup, chips, extra salt, pickles? There has got to be something.....

Seriously? Ketchup? Thin, spiced tomato paste? Eaten with french fries? Topping on burgers? You're kidding right? Didn't like my spelling?

Julie, I really didn't know what you meant, I know what Ketchup is. I just thought it must have been something which you have over there which we don't have over here.

@ Dave, the majority of the brands in the USA do have ketchup written on the label, but a few do spell it catsup. I've always pronounced and spelled it Ketchup. We must remember that Julie is from the Capital of Texas...Keep Austin Weird! LOL You know, I'm playing with you, Julie. http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2015/02/ketchup-catsup/

So you were Annie Oakley in your previous life Julie. That's why I find it hard to understand your accent. Hope you are able to understand mine, it's an Essex country accent, not the same as a Towie accent, that's more like a cockeny accent. Now this is getting more and more complicated.

Well cb I've never heard it called catsup. We learned something new every day.

I know there are so many more accents here in the UK, Roy has explained to me that a person only has to travel a few miles to hear a difference. I have grown to the point that I can listen to someone on TV and compare their accent to another celebrity on TV and I usually match it to the same vicinity, but sometimes I'm way, way, way off. I think I have gotten decent at recognising the Geordie accent.

    You are soooooooo funny!

My wife often adds nuts, grapes, cherries, all sorts to a meal, to make it more appetizing.

Our plates are very bright and decorative so I don't add anything extra on the plate to make it palatable.

I prefer black walnuts. Better flavor.

If I'm eating something that I'm not too excited about, I put on it Soy Sauce, or Westachire sauce. Then, it's really good.
