When was your last family reunion?

Probably the last Fourth of July with my family before my folks moved to AZ.

One week ago.... Every year we have a reunion of my mother's side of the family on the second Sunday of July and one of my father's side on the second Sunday of August. Also, each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving day we have my siblings and their family's gathering at a sister's home.

I think we've discussed this before. It was in a large building with a stage, am I right. That's where we held the best ones with all the great aunts and uncles and their offspring......

The reunion was organised by grandmother and her two sisters and it included all their children and grand kids etc. My mom and uncle were the only two fighting at the reunion. Our side of the family have not been invited to any reunions since.

My ancestors came to the U.S. from the Isle of Wight. That was my maiden name. Every body wants to put an R in that name. Thankfully, the Beatles made everyone aware of the Isle in the song........." When I'm 64...."

It was probably about 50 years ago. Too many people who never got along, drank too much, split marriages, kids in trouble, moved far away. You know, the usual tv family. lol

About four years ago was the last time at my oldest sisters 80th birthday, unfortunately it will probably be the last for a while, my other sister had a fall out with her two daughters. It will probably be at someone's funeral when we all meet up again.

The problem is, link you can set the lower gear pivots into their jewels easily enough but you have to somehow put the upper ¾ plate link in place so smoothly that the upper pivots all go into their jewels at the same time. link In the case of the Lange 1, that's eight of the little bastards. The first time I tried to do it with a pocket watch movement, I lost my cool several times and had to walk around the block to get my nerve back. You could have made a movie: There Will Be Swearing.
