Only what is really needed.

We turn on the lamp in the living room at night and it goes off when we go to bed. The house is pitch dark at night while we sleep. No need for any lights to be turned on during the day.

I don't like 'living in the dark' but I have lights on, only in the room that I am using. I grew up in a home where only one little lamp in the corner was ever on....drove me crazy. (See, hang up from my youth.)

No, I think it was a tiny candle.

Bathroom and bedroom have little LED that activate in darkness. When using phone, computer, TV, always have a light on to buffer the glare.

We just have light on in the room we are sitting,  and the lights above the kitchen worktops. We have a couple of plug in lights in the hallway and landing which light up when they sense someone moving around, they are mainly to stop us falling down the stairs when we have to get up in the night.

At home: none

When travelling: bathroom only

It's easier on the forehead.

Usually only where were at. We do have several antique kerosene lamps and lanterns that I do like to burn on occasion.
