My late butler always licked the stamps, however, his successor does not, seems they come in already licked variety these days.

The folks over at Subdial, the selling party, have tipped me off early to this one – BAL first access! Even beyond the uncommon dial variant, it's a special one. The watch is fresh to link market, coming via the family of the original owner, a link late Royal Navy officer, and features an all-original dial and handset. The lume on the dial and hands is original and matches. The seller rightly discloses that the link bezel and bracelet are Rolex service replacements. To my eye, the case looks full and strong.

The Trident line of watches link is a decided fan-favorite. And for those unaware CW asked their fans through their own independent forum for their opinion as to what made link the link perfect dive watch. The Trident 300 was the answer. In the past the three-hander has been available in 38 40 and 42mm flavors. Here the GMT is limited to the 40mm case size yet still only 11.8mm thick. Which is nice to hear when talking about a GMT with 300m of water resistance.
