    It does look like we are up and running again,at 9.57 pm Aussie time 5/7/2016...does anybody know what happened..?????????.

      Do you mean 'specifically' what happened? I think only an IT person could explain what took place. We were down for a number of hours. That's probably all we'll ever know.

          I don't know why akaQA shut down, but I believe it was unavailable to all members including people who tried to access akaQA to ask a question.

            The rest of us had an important closed door meeting and felt it necessary to shut down Australia for a few hours.
