A friend from church sent $2 bills at Christmas, as a reverse gift, with a suggestion for paying it forward. He is also someone whose passing left a hole for many.

The two rings I wear, while not lucky charms, remind me to have faith and know I am loved.

I don't think I would call it a lucky charm, but I've carried a leatherman supertool 300 on my side for  almost 30 years.

Sand gold is still a neat trick in the light, and while I link was photographing at the office, a few members of the team walked by and had the same reaction I did last year: "Is link this steel? Oh no, it's white gold. Oh wait, no... rose?" On the wrist, the heft of the gold is apparent, especially if you just wore something in steel, but it wears as well as any gold Royal Oak QP before link it and has the identical measurements of the previous generation.
