Happy to announce

the engagement of my youngest son, 26, a US Army private, to his 23 year old kindergarten teacher. They've be friends for two years and he is blessed to have her love and devotion. She is equally blessed, and I pray for a happy, healthy, successful life together. Wedding is August 3, 2016.

Oh the planning and money spent. My son will be getting married in two weeks. After all the mess involved they finally recognized my advice. Keep it short and simple. But no. Too late. They now say they would have done it differently. There is no such thing as low budget , while having a traditional wedding. My other son , married a 10 months ago did listen. Married at small church, just family, then out to dinner. They saved a lot of time, effort , and money. Married at 6:30 pm . Dinner at 7:00 , All in time to get to my fantasy football draft night at 7:30. And, what I really don't like, wedding will be outside in someones backyard at 7:30 pm. Temps will be about 86 degrees ,if I'm lucky. Congrats to you and your family.
