If it's possible to see, they do have the factory recommendations or the specs on stickers, on the machine. Mine was on the top of the gas tank and I learned that it need's 10-40 weight. I actually then read on the net that it takes 10-30 but the factory sticker said 10-40 so, I went with that. Also a slightly higher weight oil is usually recommended when the weather gets hotter. Thanks.
