    It sure would occupy and ease my mind more to concentrate on one thing that I'm great at doing instead of scratching my head while trying to figure out a whole lot of things I don;t have a clue about doing. Patty and Paddy comes to mind...LOL

    ....to impress my wife, a jack of many trades.

    I like being able to accomplish whatever to as far as I can take it. I'm good when I feel like tackling a project.....

    Being mediocre at many things has helped me be self sufficient, but mastering one that I enjoy sounds like a good alternative. 

    I think most people are good at one or two things. I don't think there's any harm in trying you hand at anything you fancy doing, but it will probably be just the one or two that we turn out to be good at.
